Coops from the 3rd Forfar (St Margaret’s) came to Edzell and starting training the Scouts and Explorers in the safe use and handling axes, knives and saws.
Coops will be back next week to complete the training
Upon completion of the course all Scouts who have reach a satisfactory standard, will receive a certificate enabling them to use both axes and knives at camps and other scouting events.
